There’ no “loser” table here…though hierarchy does come in to play when Demi and Ashton decide to dine here….it’s one of the power couple’s faves. You won’t find crusty meatloaf or mushy pasta here either. Cafeteria’s menu features classics like burgers and fish chips, but the main attraction here is the mac and cheese. Have yours the way you remember it from childhood if you’d prefer, but Cafeteria also does a few all-new takes on this dish: try it drizzled in truffle oil, covered in bacon, or stuffed into spring roll wrappers and deep-fried.

Everyday New Yorkers fight alongside the industry’s most elite for a coveted seat at Cafeteria’s narrow bar. Hmm….come to think of it, maybe this place isn’t so different from high school after all.
